Patient Satisfaction Survey Results – June/July 2011

Thank you to all patients who took part in our Patient Satisfaction Survey in July 2011. The results were very pleasing to us. Your comments are important to us and assist us in continuing to provide high quality services to you. If you wish to see a copy of the results, a copy is held at reception.

Meet the Eye Specialist from Rationale

Rationale has introduced the Rationale Eye Specialist; a luminising, high potency gel-cream delivering total eye care, protection and repair.

It is designed to layer synergistically with the Rationale Essential Six system. It delivers the strength of a serum with the gentleness of cream and precisely targets areas of under-eye stress including wrinkles, dark circles, puffiness and dryness.

Also a reminder that Jean, our registered nurse, is available for skincare consultations on Tuesday evenings, Fridays and Saturday mornings. These consultations are at no cost and can be booked through reception.

Upgrade of laser for tattoo removal

We are about to receive the RevLite® laser. This laser supersedes the MedLite® laser previously used for tattoo removal. The new laser is able to effectively treat tattoos with many ink colours where the previous laser could not treat the colour green.

Tip for Spring

If you’re having trouble with skin hydration after winter – why not try having hydrating injections?  The skin can be directly rehydrated by a series of superficially placed hydrating micro-injections spaced some millimetres apart within the targeted area. Areas that can be improved by having hydrating injections include the hands, neck, face and décolletage.

Improvement can be seen after a single treatment but for more lasting results, a series of three treatments two weeks apart is recommended with single maintenance treatments performed six monthly afterwards.
